A very temporary website...

Remember when websites used to be really slow to download, all online images were 256-colour GIFs, and people used to put those 'clever' animations at the top of their pages showing a 'men at work' sign to indicate that their page/site was still 'under construction'? Well this is NOT one of those pages. I decided to spare you the low-res images and dodgy animations. My 'proper' site is under construction (really) and I hereby solemnly swear that it will appear here very soon. And it will be prettier than this...

In the meantime, who am I, what do I do and why should you care?

My name is Brian Browne. To earn a crust I fix computers (Mac and PC) and associated problems (networking, printers, etc). I'm also a qualified Trainer with an excellent 'bedside manner', specialising in IT. Other than that I create websites (better than this one, honestly!), write ads and design/write brochures, business cards, Press Releases and any other sort of written communication you can think of. I do all of that with a smile and a lack of BS which, if I say so myself, is quite refreshing. I'm also cheap.

I generally work in the 'Midlands Gateway' Towns - Mullingar, Athlone, Tullamore - but I can, and do, go further afield

I've been known to work for the nice people to the left, among others - feel free to ask any of them about me. If any of them say anything less than complimentary, please tell me and I'll add something to their bill next time they call. That's a joke, by the way.
